As you’ll enjoy hugely in Baker’s production, this jokiness is a source of delight to designer Cory Sincennes, whose invention with frankly fake cut-outs and sexy showgirl costuming apparently knows no bounds. In this quest for visual fun, Sincennes is assisted by Stancil Campbell’s lurid showbiz lighting. And the giddy excesses of Laura Krewski’s choreography, as it references every known kind of Broadway production number, from The Producers to Fiddler On The Roof, just adds to the tickle...In short, child’s play on this scale is anything but..
